Welcome back to our blog.
Today I will be sharing some exciting news with you all.
Back when I launched Ezelle in December 2018, I had a long term goal to involve the brand in social enterprise projects. We are delighted to introduce our very first one. As announced last week on Instagram - we are working on this behind the scenes.

United Brands of Our Ummah: Bridging Gaps and Building Hope
In the face of recent tragedies in Palestine, a fellow Muslim-owned small business and I joined forces with a shared vision – to create a platform that not only supports like-minded businesses but also makes a positive impact in our communities. The idea stemmed from recognising a void; there are currently no all-inclusive online platforms for small ethical Muslim-owned businesses to serve both Muslim and non-Muslim communities while actively contributing to social causes.
In a few weeks, Monika (@beelikeabeeuk) and I assembled a dedicated team of individuals who share our enthusiasm for this project.
Our mission is clear yet impactful: to create a comprehensive hub where businesses dedicated to ethics and community well-being can prosper. It goes beyond business, emphasising unity and responsibility. As we diligently develop the platform, we're also constructing a directory of like-minded businesses.
In the coming weeks, we are working on the launch of our first collective campaign. Every purchase made through our platform will contribute to a cause close to our hearts – Palestine Aid. Recognising the urgent need for assistance in Gaza, we aim to donate a percentage of our proceeds to rebuild shattered lives and communities. The funds will be directed towards helping orphans, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and newborns who have faced unimaginable loss.
This initial campaign is just the beginning of our commitment to making a difference globally. We believe in the power of collective action, and we aspire to extend our support to those who are suffering the most in various parts of the world. The journey is challenging, but it is a journey worth taking.
Follow us on social media @unitedbrandsofourummah for regular updates on our progress. Stay tuned as we navigate this path with determination, hope, and a shared sense of responsibility. Together, through United Brands of Our Ummah, we can bridge gaps, empower businesses, and contribute to a brighter, more compassionate future for us all.
We are so excited to bring you on board with us!
